Costa Rica has 2 international airports, Liberia (2.5 hr drive) and San Jose (4-4 1/2 hr drive).

Food

 

The house is tucked away at the end of a fairly secluded beach, but there are 4 restaurants within a 5 minute drive and several others within 15 to 20 minutes.

 

1 small grocery store 5 minutes away and 2 slightly larger ones 15 minutes away. They have a limited selection but should have everything you have to have, with the exception of fresh meat, they all three sell frozen.

 

5 minutes away is a small fishing village where you can buy fresh fish.

 

Fresh meat, chicken, cheeses and yogurt can be ordered in advance.

 

A cook is available for a fee to prepare your food for an additional fee.

Bank and Gas Station

 

These are about an hour away so you will need to stop on your way in for that. There are several places locally that sell gas by the gallon if you should need that.

Electricity

 

Voltage (110-120) and sockets are the same as they are in the U.S.
